Linden Hall Studio is a jewel in Deal’s crown . Having worked in and for the arts for many years I was delighted when Myles Corley and his family opened the gallery and decided to showcase not only the very best of the local arts community , but also artists of national and international standing .
I was able to exhibit and promote the gallery in The Building Centre in London during my time there as chief executive. It was clear for everyone to see that Linden Hall could stand as an equal to any London based gallery.
I am proud to be a patron and friend of the gallery, a beacon of fine art and connoisseurship in Kent and I would strongly argue nationwide.

ANNOUNCING THE 2025/26 WINTER GROUP SHOW CATALOGUE - NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER HERE!
"It’s remarkable how quickly the Winter Group Show returns each year. As we prepare to open the doors once again, the familiar mix of anticipation and quiet excitement fills the gallery...
Artworks by more than 250 artists have arrived and settled into the gallery for the winter season. As the exhibition has grown, so too has the breadth of the work. This year’s show spans painting, sculpture, print, photography, and mixed media, presenting an extraordinary range of approaches, scales, and energies. From bold, expressive pieces to quieter, more contemplative ones, the diversity is always striking. Yet despite this variety, there is a thread that quietly connects everything: the clarity of the artist’s hand and the presence of their intention.
Visitors often ask what links such a wide-ranging show? How it holds together? The truth is both simple and a little difficult to define. Each work stands entirely on its own, offering a singular point of view. And yet together, they form a kind of conversation, shaped by the honesty and individuality of each artist. Whether exploring visual form, personal stories, or wider social questions, every piece carries something of its maker. Our job is simply to provide the space where these voices can sit side by side.
Over the years, the Winter Group Show has become the anchor of our annual programme. It captures the spirit of the gallery ; open, expansive, and committed to showcasing a rich variety of contemporary visual art. This year’s exhibition brings together works from the Linden Hall Studio Collection, invited contributors, and a growing selection from our open call, which continues to expand in both scale and submission distance!
To all the artists involved: thank you. This exhibition wouldn’t exist without your trust, your creativity, and your willingness to share what you make. In a world that feels increasingly fast-paced and unsettled, your ability to offer perspective, sometimes challenging, sometimes reassuring, is invaluable.
And to our visitors ; I hope this exhibition gives you a reason to pause. Within these rooms you’ll find moments of joy, humour, melancholy, reflection, and surprise. Where they are hidden is for you to discover, that’s part of the pleasure of visiting a show like this.
Here’s to another winter of stopping, noticing, and looking a little more closely."
