The Winter Group Show at Linden Hall Studio!
Over the years this exhibition has become one of the highlights of our exhibition programme. It is a source of enormous pride for the gallery and the team here that this show is something people look forward to, something which gives the possibility for artists and creatives to submit into and something which provides our audience with the opportunity to view a complete spectrum of works across the entire visual langauge.
Regular fixtures of the gallery walls intermingle with the many submissions we recieve within this shows ever popular open call. Painting and sculpture, cermaic and charcoal, photography and printmaking - the wealth of talent which is a pleasure to pour over never fails to amaze, enlighten and delight all of us here at LHS.
This year there are a few prizes ;
LHS COLLECTION PRIZE
- One artist will be invited to join the gallery's collection of artists for a six month period.
TWO STUDIOS PRIZE
- One artist will be invited to join the collection of artists which are shown at Two Studios, a new space on Deal High Street. This new space features a selection of work from Linden Hall Studio & Corley Studio Shop.
DALER-ROWNEY PRIZE
- A selected artist will be chosen to attend an exclusive factory tour day. These limited tours are typically allocated via random draws due to high demand. The event runs all day with a behind-the-scenes factory tour in the morning followed by a creative session in the afternoon led by one of our partner artists using a wide range of our materials.
JACKSON'S ART SUPPLIES PRIZE
- An artist from the exhibition will be selected by the Jackson’s Art team, they will be offered either An Artists Insight film shoot, or an Inside The Sketchbook film shoot (should they have a sketchbook practice)
