Wes Anderson’s dazzling comic caper blends meticulous visual design, deadpan wit, and emotional melancholy into a richly imagined cinematic world. With its storybook compositions, vibrant colour palette, and precisely choreographed performances, The Grand Budapest Hotel is both a playful adventure and an elegy for a vanished Europe. Ralph Fiennes gives a career-defining comic performance at the centre of Anderson’s remarkable ensemble cast.
