We have some exciting news from Linden Hall Studio!
Alongside our ongoing exhibition programme, the gallery has always taken great pride in developing our film programme. With a monthly film schedule, two themed film series each year, and now regular cinema courses in collaboration with John Wishmeyer, cinema lecturer at City Lit, we have been working hard over the past few weeks on something special.
We are delighted to share that we have completely upgraded our equipment to offer our growing audience the very best in audio visual experience. From projectionists and electricians to screen specialists and upholsterers, (who have created the most comfortable cushions we have ever sat on), this has truly been a collaborative effort. We are thrilled to introduce our brand new 4K cinema laser projector, designed to work with an even larger dedicated cinema screen, delivering the highest quality visual experience. Our entire sound system has also been overhauled ; as one of our recent film series explored, the sound of cinema is just as important!
