We are delighted to share that the first session in our British Cinema 'The Whole Story' Film Course was a great success. The event drew an excellent turnout, with many guests attending to explore the fascinating early history of British film.
Exploring the Beginnings of British Cinema
The session introduced audiences to the pioneers who helped shape the foundations of British cinema, including Cecil Hepworth, one of the earliest filmmakers in Britain; Alfred Hitchcock, whose early work established his distinctive cinematic style; and Anthony Asquith, known for his sophisticated direction and contributions during the silent and early sound eras.
