We are excited to announce a brand-new Contemporary Cinema Film Course at Linden Hall Studio in Deal, Kent, running from 27 February to 20 March 2026. This four-part course offers cinephiles and film enthusiasts the chance to explore and discuss the best contemporary films of the past year in a welcoming gallery setting.
The course coincides with the run-up to the BAFTA Awards (22 February) and the Academy Awards (15 March), providing a timely opportunity to reflect on recent releases. Across four sessions, participants will watch and analyse a variety of contemporary films, exploring cinematic techniques, narrative themes, and the creative choices that shape modern storytelling. Guided discussions will encourage attendees to engage critically and share their insights, culminating in a collaborative students’ list of the year’s standout films.
