Lottie Cole Exhibited at Saatchi Gallery’s 'FLOWERS – Flora in Contemporary Art & Culture'

We are delighted to share that Lottie Cole, one of our represented artists, recently exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery, London in the landmark show FLOWERS – Flora in Contemporary Art & Culture. This major exhibition, which ran through the summer season of 2025, brought together more than 500 works by over 100 artists to explore the enduring presence of flowers and botanical imagery in contemporary art, fashion, photography, science and design.

 

Lottie Cole’s Contribution

Cole was featured in the New Shoots section, dedicated to emerging and early-career artists. Her painting Seamus Heaney, A dog was crying to-night in Wicklow also, 2024 exemplified her distinctive approach to exploring interiors, memory and atmosphere. Working across watercolour, gouache and oil, she creates layered and resonant works that weave together personal history, cultural references and the symbolic qualities of both natural and domestic spaces.

 

Recognition and Achievement

Her participation in this important Saatchi Gallery exhibition marked a significant moment in her career, positioning her work within an international dialogue on nature and contemporary visual culture.
