Linden Hall Studio are delighted to welcome Carole Hayman to the gallery for a special evening celebrating the launch of her new book, The Warfleet Chronicles, published in support of Deal Museum.
Taking place on Wednesday 28 October, from 5.30–7pm, Carole will read from the book and talk about the ways in which Deal and its surrounding area inspired this witty, mischievous and characterful collection of short stories. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

The Warfleet Chronicles brings together stories shaped by Carole’s fascination with the unusual, the overlooked and the unexpected. Inspired in part by Deal’s history and the rich material held within Deal Museum, the tales move between the local and the universal, with familiar settings and characters never quite proving to be what they first seem.
The 186 page hardback is published for Deal Museum by Mot Juste and will be available to purchase on the evening. Profits from sales will go towards the upkeep of Deal Museum.
