To mark 55 years since the release of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather in March 1972, Linden Hall Studio presents a rare opportunity to experience The Godfather and The Godfather Part II together on the big screen ; March 20th 2027.
Seen as one sweeping story, the films trace the rise and transformation of the Corleone family across generations, creating an unforgettable portrait of family, power, loyalty and succession. Both films will be presented in our intimate gallery cinema using 4K laser projection and surround sound.
The day has been carefully paced around three generous moments of Italian hospitality. The morning interval brings freshly brewed Italian coffee with filled focaccia. From 1.00 to 2.00pm, guests will enjoy a specially prepared Italian lunch by renowned chef Petra Hallstrom of Heatonomy, accompanied by Italian wine and soft drinks. The afternoon continues with a tris di tiramisù, a tasting of three interpretations of the classic Italian dessert, with the option of a small glass of sweet Italian wine.
Following the final credits, guests are welcome to stay for an informal 30-minute debrief and conversation about the films.
Tickets are £65 and include both screenings, the complete Italian menu and all advertised refreshments. With only 30 places available, The Godfather at 55 promises to be an exceptional shared day of cinema & food.
